Experimental Investigation into the Performances of Water Adsorption in Kaolinite Clay: Implications for Occupational Pneumoconiosis Prevention and Treatment

Pneumoconiosis is a systemic disease mainly caused by diffuse fibrosis (scar) of lung tissue due to long-term inhalation productive mineral dust in occupational activities and retention the lungs. The concentrration can be effectively controlled using water-based reduction technique. Therefore, investigation into water-clay interaction useful for pneumoconiosis prevention treatment. In this study, adsorption performances water molecules kaolinite clay were investigated. findings reveal that divided primary secondary adsorption. Under lower vapour pressure, are primarily fixed sites. At higher pressure condition, sites become utilizable main centers. Primary monolayer adsorption, while centers occurred formation clusters.
